I offer one-on-one private singing lessons for ages 7+. Lessons are based in Eastbourne, East Sussex from a home studio fully equipped with professional audio equipment. Lessons can also be provided online via multiple platforms. Lessons are focused on helping to develop confidence, performance skills, breathing technique, expanding range, and gaining and strengthening power. The aim is to help students find their own voice and style, eliminate strain, and build flexibility.

Chloe holds a 1st Class honours degree in Childhood and Youth: Theory and Practice with a pathway in Education Studies from Sussex University, and a distinction ALCM Diploma in Music Theatre from D&B Performing Arts Academy. She trained and worked professionally in Musical Theatre before becoming a teacher, her speciality being Musical Theatre. She has been teaching individuals and classes privately, and in state schools, private schools, and performing arts schools for over ten years, and is hugely passionate about helping others to reach their full singing potential. Her experience spreads across a variety of performing arts subjects including, musical theatre, dance, drama, and choirs, for ages 4 - Adult.
Her lessons provide a fun, interactive, and safe environment to allow students to find their confidence, and set their voice free!

All lessons are payable on the day, in advance, or monthly payment via online or cash. Please note I ask for a 24 hour notification for cancellations. Failing to do so may result in a late cancellation fee.
Aside from that, have fun, be interactive. It's a safe environment to allow students to find their confidence, and set their voice free!
Certificates are awarded after successful completion of examinations conducted through the London College of Music (LCM) in connection with the University of West London (UWL) who is the issuer of the certificates.
These exams are really fun and focus on not just singing technique but also performance skills. Those who achieve a Pass or higher at Grades 6-8 are eligible to claim UCAS points.

Lessons are provided 10am - 7pm Monday to Friday (lessons can be requested outside of these times if necessary).
Students will have the opportunity to use a new mini recording studio set-up through which I will be able to offer vocal recordings as an additional service at Chloe Shearer Singing.

I started singing lessons with Chloe when I was eight years old and I have been singing with her for over ten years. Chloe has supported me in many ways, not only with my confidence, but she has seen me through five singing exams up to grade eight, in which she helped me to achieve at least a grade of merit. Chloe goes above and beyond to help me and make me feel happy in what I’m singing. In our lessons she gives me the option to pick my own songs and asks my opinion on new ideas she has for song choices so I’m always singing songs that I enjoy. Chloe makes sure to include a variety of different styles within my Musical theatre singing and always gives her honest opinion on how the songs sound in my range. At the start of each lesson we do a range of warm up exercises that focus on different areas of singing. If I am struggling with a particular aspect of my singing, Chloe will find an exercise for me to do that will help overcome this. Chloe is always able to point me in the direction of resources to help me understand the themes and storyline of the songs I’m singing, which is very important to know for musical theatre exams. Chloe is very understanding and so approachable, which is why I find it easy to talk to her about any worries I have with the songs I’m singing. I’m so glad I started singing with her
